Interiors : Smile and Wave Holiday Edition

If you are in need of some holiday decorating inspiration take a look at Rachel Denbow’s home. Gorgeously festive and bright! The vintage shiny brite ornaments are my favorite! I saw some at a flea market yesterday but the price just wasn’t right. Today if this winter wind dies down the search will continue at some of my most loved antique shops. I’m off to send out some orders. For more visit Rachel at Smile and Wave and Red Velvet Art!

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE your xmas decor !!! Makes me feel warm and fuzzy as it captures the the Christmastime of my grandparents era that I’ve only seen in photo’s ( I didn’t come along till 1969 ) I even have som eof my own Shiny Brites !! My mom was just recently telling me that my grandmother always had a snow white flocked tree with just blue balls (ha, ha) She was quite a socialite and had a grand holiday party every year. my grandfather was the dean of education at the University of Washington, Seattle and was quite a distinguished man. My grandmother had a keen sense of style and that tree even had spot lights shining from underneath !!
