Turkey Chili Recipe
Shayne made this turkey chili on Sunday. It was so good I had to share the recipe.

Turkey Chili
• 1-¼ lb. ground turkey
• 2 Tbsp. olive oil
• 1 medium red onion, chopped
• 2 cloves fresh garlic, minced
• 1 16oz. can kidney beans, drained and rinsed
• 1 16oz. can black beans, drained and rinsed
• 1 Cup water
• 1 28oz. can crushed tomatoes
• 1 28oz. can diced tomatoes
• 1 Tbsp. salt
• 2 tsp. ground black pepper
• 2 tsp. dried oregano
• 2 Tbsp. chili powder
• 1 Tbsp. paprika
• 1 tsp. ground cayenne pepper
• 3 Tbsp. ground cumin
• 1 Tbsp. sugar
• 1 Tbsp. balsamic vinegar
• Light sour cream
1. Brown ground turkey in large pot over medium heat.
2. Add olive oil, onion, garlic and salt and sauté until soft.
3. Stir in water, tomatoes, beans, black pepper, oregano, chili powder, paprika, cumin, sugar and balsamic vinegar. Heat on medium-high until simmering.
4. Reduce heat to low and simmer, covered, for 30 minutes.
5. Uncover and continue to simmer for 20 minutes.
6. Add cayenne pepper and simmer for an additional 10 minutes or until thickened. Adjust seasoning to taste.
7. Ladle into bowls and top with a dollop of sour cream.
Serves 6-8.

I made turkey chili on new years and the recipe that I used was very similar to this, but if you are going to work or have all day… you can actually throw it all into a crock pot for like 5-6 hours and the flavors simmer together. It comes out really well!
