Style Icon : Sharon Tate

Sharon Tate has one of the most gorgeous faces on the screen. Those eyes and that smile also led to her appearing regularly in fashion magazines as a model and cover girl. Unfortunately the story of her death sometimes overshadows her career but in the 1960′s she was hailed as one of Hollywood’s promising newcomers. Sharon was even nominated for a Golden Globe for her performance in Valley of the Dolls, a movie I have no problem watching over and over again. Her look is the epitome of a California girl.

I agree with the person who made a statement in this article about her being one of the most gorgeous women who ever lived. What happened to her was so tragic and senseless. What a waste.

Oh yea Sharon Tate was so beautiful I remember when she, her unborn child, and friends were murdered. She was truly a style Icon!

sharon tate was absolutely stunning. she was just barely starting out and was still a starlet when she was brutally murdered but there’s no question in my mind that she wouldv’e become as big as brigitte bardot or raquel welch had she lived. i agree that she really was the epitome of a california girl (even though she was from texas i belive) and was the inspiration for the malibu barbie. (from her movie “don’t make waves”, where she plays a skydiver named malibu)
