our valentine’s day
Our Valentine’s Day was oh so sweet! This was our 14th one spent together and it was just as lovely if not more than the first (yes we have been together over 13 years and are not married yet AND to save you the math we started dating when I was 13) whew! The day started out with carnations and tulips.
The mister spent the whole afternoon out searching for the perfect gift and he found this wonderful pink stripe Pyrex bowl. Chocolate truffles and heart shaped wintergreen lollipops added to an already perfect gift.

Speaking of delicious, Shayne made one of his famously tasty meals.
and a little heart shaped snack…
We finished the night with some wine and saw Blue Valentine (loved it!) I also found a candle recently that Shayne bought for me on our first Valentine’s together…I decided last night was the perfect night to finally burn it. Hope your day was just as nice!

oh my gosh that steak dinner just looks…perfect.
i also used a cookie cutter last valentines to make sandwiches for my bf. it was great. i mean, i love bread in general but shape it into a heart and i’m totally sold!
