This week’s obsession is a 2.5 quart cinderella oval casserole from the Verde collection.

Pyrex introduced the Verde collection in 1964. The pattern had mixing bowls and casseroles in varying shades of green. They where in a gradient, with the largest bowl/casserole being a dark avocado to the smallest in the set being a light chartreuse. A few of the casseroles including the bake, serve and store set and the divided casserole have a white lid with a pattern of olives or berries and leaves printed in an avocado green shade.

Some new jewelry and a few hair combs have been added to the SHOP today. The owl brooch is so unique and can also be worn as a pendant!

It should be no surprise that when I saw this collection of wallpaper and fabric by Sanderson I fell in love. The Sanderson 50’s collection combines original 1950’s designs from the Sanderson archive with designs from contemporary artists who have taken great inspiration from this era. The collection includes 9 new wallpapers in fun and colorful patterns like fruit, flowers and mobiles.

This is another of my promotional Pyrex casseroles. It is a 1.5 quart Cinderella Oval Casserole Series 943 #043.

The pattern, a row of black mod style flowers printed on a pale yellow background, has been named Pressed Flowers. It is from 1957 and has the same color scheme as the Mod Kitchen Decorator casserole.

I also found this adorable photo below of a recipe book that features the pressed flower casserole.

I came across these lovely signs from William Dohman that are each made from recycled plywood. I think they would make the perfect addition to any wall and would be wonderful props for wedding photos!
