I’ve been searching for well over a year at every yard sale, thrift/antique store and estate sale that I go to for some Cathrineholm. It would have been easy to purchase a piece on ebay and believe me, there were many that made it to my watch list. I just couldn’t bring myself to pay the crazy high prices that Cathrineholm brings. Last week while at a local thrift store I finally stumbled across this casserole/pot and could not believe the price sticker…

…$4.50!!!  I practically ran to the register. I was way too excited which explains the need to take a photo right outside the store.

I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday weekend. The day before Easter Shayne and I colored close to two dozen eggs. That’s way too many for just the two of us which means tons o egg salad. As for Sunday, we went to my Mom’s house for dinner. We don’t celebrate actual Easter in the traditional go to church kind of way. For us it’s just a nice excuse to get together with family for a good meal. Toward the end of the day the sun came out just long enough for me to fit in a walk/run before I got rained on. To round out my workout I rented Body by Bethenny via Amazon and for a yoga workout it really delivers! I would highly recommend it!

Today was spent getting started on some of my Spring cleaning. A little late I know but our weather as of late in PA had been nothing but cold and rain. I’ll be back tomorrow to share with you one of my favorite thrift scores in awhile!

I have been a fan of Jamie Beck’s photography and blog for awhile now. She introduced me to MAC’s Lady Danger lipstick and made me want to take more pictures. Recently, Jamie created these “cinemagraphs” of Canadian supermodel Coco Rocha. They are “more than a photo, but not quite a video,” according to Rocha. I LOVE them and think they are glamorous, mesmerizing and a touch creepy!

I woke up this morning excited to get to work and start my day, until I attempted to get out of bed. My back is totally messed up:( I have no clue what I did to it but I’m on a diet of Aleve and muscle relaxers until it goes away. I did manage to add a handful of items to the SHOP today. Enjoy!

The Pyrex Hostess Oven and Table Set consisted of a 2.5 quart square bowl and four 12 ounce individual matching dishes. The set was available in autumn red and harvest yellow. The 2.5 quart bowl and dishes were available separately as well. Along with the dishes there was a Hostess Casserole dish which appears to be similar to the square bowl but has a cover to keep food warm.
