Vintage Pyrex : Friendship Pattern

Introduced in 1971, the Friendship pattern features a Pennsylvania Dutch like motif of flowers and birds in shades of red, orange and yellow. The oval casserole pictured above was a present from the mister this past Christmas and the small bowl is from a nesting bowl set that I found at a yard sale. Casseroles in the Friendship pattern came with a printed lid which is either clear glass or like mine solid white.

    I absolutely LOVE friendship – I have four pieces and they are some of my favorite in my collection! You should have seen me mildly freak out when I spotted them in the thrift store in perfect condition!

    This is one of my favorite patterns. Thanks for showcasing it :) The opal lids are definitely my favorite; swoonable, I think.
