The Franklin Collection

Tuesday, July 13th, 2010

I’m loving the newest collection from Jess LC. The Franklin Collection features necklaces with intentions like Be Brave, Be Thankful, Breathe, etc. The words are printed in braille on one side and english on the other. They are gorgeous and make for fashionable reminders. The lookbook is amazing as well.

Feisty Elle : Exclusive Discount

Thursday, April 15th, 2010

Feisty Elle started in fall 2005 out of a love for producing women’s accessories from handfelted wool. Based in San Francisco, California, what began as an exploration into feltmaking has since evolved into offering vibrant statement jewelry out of unusual materials such as virgin merino wool felt, textiles, and bamboo ply.The soft, lightweight feel of the lasercut felt have made them runaway hits in boutiques.

Owner and designer, Leslie Yang, is a California native with a background in graphic design and a love for bright colors and bold accessories to wear and to share. Yang’s design sensibilities are a playful harmony between her expertise in both graphic design and fiber arts. She aims to design jewelry and accessories that are clean in form, vivid in color, and always fun and functional to wear.

Dahlia Earrings – Red : $28.00, Feather Earrings – Magenta : $30.00, Dahlia Brooch – Orange : $25.00, Large Dahlia Earrings – Gray : $34.00, Leaf Earrings – Bamboo : $28.00 and Emi Brooch and Hairclip – Magenta : $25.00

Yang says, “I didn’t set out to reimagine what jewelry could be made of, but I did discover wool felt to be this beautifully light, soft material that rethinks what jewelry feels like and how much it should cost.”

The lines feature colorful, bold designs, with the two most popular designs, the dahlia and the petal drop, available in two sizes: regular and large. A problem solver at heart, Yang offers a larger size for fellow fashionistas that love big earrings but hate the weight.
