Yesterday was so much fun! We kept things small and made a delicious brunch for just Shayne and I. Isley was in love with her Easter basket, her gifts and her dress. It was the perfect day and Isley’s first Easter was a success.

How could I not love this day? I have two of the sweetest people to share it with. Plus, Isley makes me love holidays even more. No matter how big or small.

Instead of heading out to dinner, Shayne has promised me dinner and a movie in after the little one goes to bed. I’m looking forward to relaxing and diving in to my new Kate Spade book and some mini cheesecakes. Happy Valentine’s Day!

I wanted to decorate Isley’s nursery nook for Valentine’s Day without spending too much. I bought this adorable garland from Target. While I LOVE it, I decided garland + a curious baby= bad mommy idea. Instead, I opted for the easiest DIY ever…paper hearts. I found a cute heart template here, printed it onto pink and red paper, cut out and taped them up. I think it looks adorable and most importantly Isley loves it!

Christmas

Friday, December 28th, 2012

Hope you had a merry Christmas. I know we did! This Christmas was the best yet. Having a little one really does make it something special. We had so much fun watching Isley open her gifts. She ripped the paper and seemed more interested in snacking on that than her gifts. She was spoiled by her grandparents for sure. In fact, I have no clue where we are putting all of her loot in our one bedroom apartment! Might be time to get serious about our house hunt.
