Music in the park is one of my favorite things about Summer. I love sitting in the grass on our blanket, snuggling up and taking in the music. It’s the perfect way to break up the work day and in this week’s case let the jazz take your mind off the everyday not so fun stuff. Each week I find myself looking forward to the middle of the week when I know I’ll be able to kick off my shoes and relax in the park. Wednesday you cannot come fast enough!

I had a wonderful weekend catching up with old friends, spending time with the little brother, playing pinball, eating ice cream and taking late night strolls with the mister. We came across this chalk drawing on one of those walks. Hope your weekend was just as good. Be kind!

Yesterday the mister and I celebrated 14 years of love, friendship and happiness. Here is a peek into our day!

One of our traditions as a couple has been to capture birthdays, anniversaries, and any other event in a vintage photobooth. We have them on display throughout the house.

The gold Wendy Mink rings were a birthday gift from the mister and yesterday he surprised me with the diamond ring in the middle!

Sushi picnic

After a day of nature walks, a sushi picnic, and some photo fun we spent a few hours at the amusement park. I was finally convinced to ride the Scenic Skyride which wasn’t bad after all. We finished the evening sharing lots of goodies including an apple cider slush and cake.
