I found this ad for Pyrex’s Daisy collection in an old issue of Woman’s Day magazine. Currently I do not have any of this pattern’s casseroles or bowls but I do have one of the juice carafes. I love it for the summertime and use it often for lemonade and iced tea.
Although it features bright citrus fruit instead of daisy flowers according to the advertisement it did indeed go with this collection. I love the sunny yellow lid!
Old magazines are my weakness. Just last weekend Shayne bought me nine between the flea market and antique shop. For me vintage magazines are a great way to get a feel for what was popular at the time both with fashion and culture.
